Talking to God

This morning I was again  
struck by the amount of time 
that Jesus prayed.  
Not 'on the fly' prayer ..  
although He did that too....  
But  
     full on  
           no distractions  
                'Me and Father only' kinda prayer.  
Luke 6:12-13 tells me  
that He prayed all night 
and in the morning
He chose the 12 disciples. 

I guess what impacts me
is that I always feel like
                            prayer is
                                     Hard Work....
Difficult to stay focused...
Long prayer time sometimes even feels like
Wasted time....?!  :P

and the thought of praying all night is
like a marathon
that is beyond me....

Lord,
What would it take
What would it be like...
to know You
to talk to You
to 'hang out' with You
all night.

Sometime soon...?
