This morning I was reading Amos...
a story of God warning his people
about their choices
and in the middle of that...
a little verse..
Amos 3:7  Surely the Sovereign Lord
does nothing
without revealing His plan 
to His servants
the prophets.
I guess what caught my attention
is that John says that
Jesus calls those who follow Him
Friends
and that relationship gives full disclosure
of what He knows to me, His friend... ref Jn 15:15
And Paul says the same thing
That
I have Jesus' mind
- I have the Spirit that 
reveals the Thoughts of God...  ref 1 Cor 2:10ff
Sooo....
Why do I sometimes feel  'in the dark'
about what God is doing...?
Hmm....
Not asking...
...Maybe.
I suspect that this revelation part of 
my relationship with Jesus
is a 
growing thing....
Something that involves
increasing Faith
and
increasing Maturity....
it is not an 'instant on' thing
or a 'formula'
Now I know He wants to reveal His plans....
I can ask.... :)
Lord,
I do ask
what are You up to
In my family, 
my church,
my community.
and when You show me
Oh yeah...
the responsibility to 
respond...
As Your
servant.
Yes.
Uh Huh.
