Last night I was chatting with a friend about the basis for 
finding Truth to live life.
Where are we getting it from....?
The conversation included talk about 
finding it in;
Buddhism, 
statements by wise men,
and Jesus too......
This morning I 'heard' a conversation
between Religious leaders
and Jesus....
Lk 20:1 One day as he (Jesus) 
was teaching the people in the temple courts 
and preaching the gospel, 
the chief priests and the teachers of the law, 
together with the elders, came up to him.
2  "Tell us 
by what authority you are doing these things," they said. 
"Who gave you this authority?"
3  He replied, "I will also ask you a question. 
Tell me, 4  John’s baptism
—was it from heaven, 
or from men?"
5  They discussed it among themselves and said, 
"If we say, ‘From heaven’, 
he will ask, 
‘Why didn’t you believe him?’
6  But if we say, 
‘From men’, all the people will stone us, 
because they are persuaded that John was a prophet."
7  So they answered, 
"We don’t know where it was from."
8  Jesus said, "Neither will I tell you 
by what authority I am doing these things."
The question put the leaders in a corner....
If we say John's info was from Heaven
True Truth.....
Then we would need to submit to it.....
I am reminded
that 
IF  Jesus IS God on Earth.....
His authority IS from Heaven
and what He says
I need to 
DO.
and somehow
Faith enters into that....
to establish in my heart....
No argument
No discussion
No option B, C, or D....
Lord,
You continually remind me
that I need Hear You
as King
as Lord
as Master.
I choose again
to align my soul
with the Foundation
of True Truth that 
Only You give.
Thank You for 
Finding me
and teaching me.
