This morning I was thinking about
what happens when I am focused on something...
- I miss clues
Big ones!
I just recently ordered some DVD's online
and ended up with a Digital Download
Something from my computer from theirs...
NOT a package in the mail... :(
I had expected something,
Saw a picture of something
thought that is what I was getting...
and ordered and paid for...
.... something else.... :P
This morning I was listening to 
the disciples descending the mountain with Jesus
Transfiguration
Coming Kingdom
They are with the 
King to come....
and he keeps talking about
dying.  Ref Mk 9:9,10  31,32
What?!
And it didn't fit with the picture 
SO MUCH
they couldn't bring themselves to ask Him
what He was talking about....
Because I know the story
I've read it so many times
I grow blunt to the problem they had.
They had a viewpoint
that was different than the actual final outcome..
and so the pieces didn't make sense
to them
and some of those pieces were so out of place
they could't bring themselves to ask...
What am I missing today Lord?
What am I hearing, seeing, touching
that doesn't fit my picture
because my picture
is the Wrong picture....
I want to be on the same page
as You are
On the Reality page
the Truth page....
Help me to not be afraid to
Ask You
and
Hear from You
even when the answers might seem
like it is the end of the world
as I know it...
So,
I do
ask.
