When God shows up....

This morning I was reading the   
'trauma of God'.....      
dwelling in the midst of sinful people. 
1 Samuel 5 tells a crazy story of the Ark in Philistine land.   
It did not go well for them  
- Tumors, rats, death   

so they sent it away.  
got rid of it....   

So too some time in the future
Revelations 16:8-11 tells how after some of the 'bowls of wrath'
and how many people will respond....
- Curse God
- Refuse to repent and glorify Him

Hmm....
When the Judgment of Holy God arrives
in a place of sin.
When negative things happen
towards sinful behavior...
what will my response be?..

'Back off God!'....... ?
or
'I am sorry God - teach me a new way'

Lord Jesus,
easy to look at others and feel
'better than them...'

and there already....
my sin of Pride... :(

Lord,
I have given you my life
and I want everything You have for me

Your fullness of live
replaces of the emptiness
of the things that distract me here.

Thank You for opening my eyes
today
to Your awesomeness
and Your
goodness.

I worship You.
