2 Truths and Lie is not a game... :(

Started reading Job this morning.
Such an interesting look at the 'behind the scenes' of suffering.    

- Satan cruising the earth... checking on 'things'....    
- God proud of his children who walk rightly...   

and then Bad things happen to Job 
and 'friends' come to tell him why
in the guise of 'comfort' for him....    

One of Job's friends had a vision or 'visitation' of a spirit
who told him all about how Job could not be righteous.
See Job 4:12-21

The 'friend' assumed the information was from God
Job was confused and frustrated because
the accusation of 'unrighteous behaviour'
didn't come with any specific activities
that he should / could stop doing....

and we the readers are in on what was really going on in the Spirit realm...
Job was  a righteous man...
God said so....
....twice....       see Job 1:8, 2:3

Yes... I know, he still had a sin nature.  But God said he was "Blameless and Upright - Fears God and shuns evil"

So who or what was the spirit that 'came to Job's friend'?
a spirit that unrightly accused Job....

Hmmm... that sounds familiar....

Revelations 12:9
And the great dragon was thrown down,
that ancient serpent,
who is called the devil and Satan,
the deceiver of the whole world
—he was thrown down to the earth,
and his angels were thrown down with him.
10 And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying,
“Now the salvation
and the power
and the kingdom of our God
and the authority of his Christ have come,
for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down,
who accuses them day and night before our God.
11 And they have conquered him
by the blood of the Lamb
and by the word of their testimony,
for they loved not their lives even unto death.

Lord,
Thank You for recording
the workings of the Spirit Realm
the unseen that influences the seen....
The malicious effects of our enemy.
Sometimes even disguised as a 'word from the Lord'.... :(

Help me to discern that, Lord Jesus.
I open my mind to Your thoughts
Your Spirit
That I would know
Truth.
and
Lie

and walk that out today.
Yes.
