Fear God?

This morning I started Proverbs...

The scriptures about the fear of God as the path to wisdom catch my attention every time I read them.

1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge...
1:28 Then they will call upon me, but I will not answer; they will seek me diligently but will not find me. 29 Because they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of the LORD,
2:4 if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures, 5 then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God. 6 For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding;
3:7 Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD, and turn away from evil. 8 It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones.

I think 3:7 holds some clues for me. 
- Humility
- Recognition of God as my source
- Choosing to stop things that are wrong.

Fear....   Recognizing LORD as my source, AND judge.  My choices have consequences.

Oh God,  I choose to choose.... according to Your instructions.
