As Wes reminded us last Sunday, we are His eyes, noses, feet, voices and all the other pieces of His Body in this world, to those who don't know.... and those who do. 
Please continue to pray for folks that are ill, facing difficulty and a particular request for marriages. Lots of extra stresses have made for a challenging summer for some

Job 2:11 Now when Job’s three friends heard of all this evil that had come upon him, they came each from his own place...... They made an appointment together to come to show him sympathy and comfort him.
Margins - the places where things extra-ordinary can happen. 
When I find myself with narrow margins, sometimes God reminds me that I need to make some room for.....

Turns out they are lonely young men, new to Canada and looking for a friendly face and a 'Kind' Canadian experience.
I got to invite them to our church, including having them check out our website to bring them up to speed on how we do Sunday mornings.

Speaking of extraordinary.... 
2 Sundays from now (August 29th) we are planning a Baptism by the sea. After the service, at 1:00 pm Trent Scoville and I are wading into the water at Miracle Beach for his Baptism.
For the rest of you, it is an invitation to bring your lunch, have a visit, and of course, be a part of celebrating this milestone in Trent's faith walk.
A reminder that Miracle Beach is often windy at that time of day.

This week I was reminded that when I want to encourage someone it can sometimes turn into something different....
