Prayer?

This morning I read a statement Jesus made
that I have often heard..... 

'My house shall be called a house of 
Prayer'. ref Matt 21:13 

In the last weeks and even months I have been hearing this 
in little comments here and there..... 
Prayer  
        ....prayer 
                     prayer.... 

What IS this mumbling to an unseen God.....? 
To the One Who knows what I say before I say it..... 

Prayer.... 
Jesus did it. 
The Son of God 
on earth 
spent whole NIGHTS in prayer... 
talking to His Father..... 

He 'cleaned' the temple of  
distractions 
so that it could be a place 
where prayer could happen... 

Prayer that changes MY heart
and attitude
Prayer that moves God
that changes the situations of desperate need
OR
doesn't..... :(
....seem to.....

Lord You keep reminding me
You call me
to talk with You
to spend time with You
to
Listen to You....

and as I do
I am finding it
a place
that more and more
is my
food
my
drink
....sweet peace
with You.

Yeah.
