Listening to Mark's words this morning I am reminded over and over of the compassion and kindness of Jesus.

Blind Bartimaeus cried out, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!" and though the crowd told him to be quiet, Jesus stopped and met with him and healed him. Mark 10:46-52

'It is the kindness of God that leads men to repentance.'  Romans 2:4

Lord, thank You for reminding me of the length and depth and breadth of Your compassion for people.
