This morning I enjoyed;  
- Struggling with Job     
- Taking Heed from Peter    
- Raising my eyes with John    
- and Calling out to God with David.    

Such rich fair God has for me.
His word, not only nourishment for my soul,
but glossimer threads of truth and joy
for the fabric of my mind and heart.
forming, shaping my values and worldview
to His.

In Job 28, Job tells an interesting story of how men
mine for riches in the most remote places,
Looking
ever Searching...

And Job asks the question;
'in all this search
do they ever find Wisdom?....
Where is Understanding?....' vs 12,13

'... God alone understands it
and knows where it dwells....' vs 23

then he reports God's instructions;
"The fear of the Lord - That is wisdom
and to shun evil is understanding." vs 28

Such an interesting look at man's search for
VALUABLES
to find VALUE.
and yet they are searching for the KEY
in the wrong REALM.

Truth, Life -> Wisdom
come from the Originator and Source (sustainer)
not a 'THING' that
grows old,
gets lost,
decays,
is stolen...

Lord Jesus,
I am reminded by Job
that You are the
Center of ALL
and to come to You
is to find all I need.
....Beyond what I thought.

So far beyond....
Yes Lord.
